快达固态继电器因其在严苛环境下也能稳定运作的性能，可作为水银接触器和机电继电器的替代品并广泛应用于食品设备行业。 由于没有运动部件，接触磨损被排除，它们基于半导体的设计使其能够安全应用于绝大多数应用环境，包括：烤箱、油炸锅、加热器、烘焙炉、保温柜和保温设备，以及咖啡机。
它们的环氧密封设计甚至允许用于偏潮湿的应用中，例如杂货店的生产雾化系统。 通过爆炸控制(burst control)，使用随机开启式快达固态继电器能够改变电阻式加热器的可用功率，而新式快达MC系列温度分配(Temperature Proportional )和爆炸控制产品的推出则使这一解决方案能够比以往更易于实现。
