Crydom Solid State Relays (SSRs) are widely used in applications where controlling different types of motors is necessary. They are used for AC motor speed control, motor
reversing, starting motors, soft starting and soft stopping of motors, motor starting switches of both single phase and three phase motors.
Crydom SSRs are also used to control DC motors. DC relays can be used as a switch, for reversing DC motors, or using PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) for DC motor speed
controls.
